I've used this juicer for about 5 months and I don't regret it. I juice every morning. Usually it is a combination of Granny Smith apples, Pink Lady or Fuji Apples, and Fresh Ginger root. I have juiced carrots & cabbage juice on occasion.

Due to the 1 year warranty, we purchased it from William-Sonoma because they told me that they back everything they sell, even beyond the warranty. I moved on from the Juiceman of which I went through 3 in the span of 5 years, and the Omega 1000 which I used for 8 years but which was frequently out of balance and painfully loud!

GOOD
- Easy to assemble & dissassemble.
- Never gets out of balance. Trust me. You want this feature!
- If you purchase the right sized fruits & veggies, you can juice 32 ozs in about a minute (apple & ginger juice, for example). The 3" round chute easily accomodates small apples & pears withouht having to cut them. This is nearly impossible with the juiceman & omega 1000 due

MMmmm. Carrots.

This juicer was our first purchase of the Breville line. We use it almost daily. If you line the pulp catcher with a bag, clean up is really easy. The system is really efficent, the filters don't clog because the pulp heads out the back, not sitting int he filter basket like so many other brands of juicers. It looks great on the counter, it is easy to clean. I only wish it handled the finer greens as well. We have bought many Breville items since this purchase.

The Best Juicer Ever!!!

I have been juicing for about 2 years. I started with a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer, which lasted only about 1 1/2 years. How I wish I had started with the Breville!!! The juice is far superior, the machine is easy to operate and much easier to clean. I get much less pulp, and much drier pulp, so I know more juice is being extracted. Since it's all metal inside, there's no staining from the fruits and vegs. A superior buy, well worth the extra money, and Amazon had a graet discounted price. I highly recommend this product!!!!

We purchased the Breville 800 Juice fountain after extensive research and days of reading reviews on juicers but are not sure we made the best choice. After trying it out for a week we knew we had to make a decision because we only had 15 days to return it. We decided to keep it because of how fast it juices and how easy it is to clean (it only takes me 3-4 minutes to rinse off the parts and brush off the filter). With our busy mornings this is a very quick way to make a few glasses of juice. On the negative side it is very loud and while this is the only juicer I have had, it seems to have a lot of waste, even whole bits of carrot that end up in the pulp bucket. This occurs even though I am careful to push the carrots though slowly like instructed. It also creates a lot of foam which is left in the pitcher and I don't drink that so it's waste too. I know the masticating juicers make better quality juice but with the ease of the Breville we don't have to worry about making juice i

Great juicer

I am very happy with this product. I have been juicing for about three weeks now. I haven't had any problems with the plastic fogging. I did notice the plastic is very easy to scratch. Perhaps tiny scratches are to blame for the hazing. Also I don't think clean up is as bad as I would have imagined after reading some of the other reviews. Last note the unit looks real good sitting on my table but it will not fit under the cabinet.
